The transition years as they moved away from Oak, Sjc, Ont, and Tahoe as LAX and SFO were added. Sad that SNA is unserved today.
Of course I remember AirCal. But they didn’t serve FAT for long. And my first flight..ever…was into FAT. But on their rival, PSA. And you know I’ve been trying to get a pic of that plane ever since it came out over a decade ago. But has eluded me all the times I’ve gone to the airport. Because. You know. Matt’s luck. I also remember others like the original Frontier, Western, Republic, TWA, Continental, Reno Air, America West, and so on. Lots of good names no longer around.
