Public Safety
We are here to assist travelers and help make their airport experience as safe and carefree as possible.
Your Safety Matters
Fresno Yosemite International Airport Department of Public Safety is a California POST certified law enforcement agency and is staffed 24-hours a day with police officers, public safety dispatchers, and public safety service aides. Our goals are to protect the public, airport employees, our airlines, and civil aviation. Our officers work closely with the TSA at screening checkpoints, and the FAA to ensure the safety of our passengers and employees.
The Airport Department of Public Safety screens and issues airport access badges, inspects all vehicles coming into the airport fence line, and patrols the terminal and airport perimeter. With the assistance of our on-site Fresno Fire Aircraft Rescue component, we handle all in-flight aircraft and medical emergencies.
We stand ready to protect and assist you. If you need assistance, please contact any police officer, service aide, or call our 24-hour Communications Center at (559) 621-6670.
