I am Melanie Glass, CEO and Founder of B AWESUM, Creative and Mix Media Abstract

Artist. In the past I used ART as an outlet. During this period I experienced difficult times.

However, I was able to cope by escaping into painting for hours and sometimes days. When

I returned to my problem I had CLARITY. It allowed me to resolve my issues and move

forward.

Now B AWESUM takes dull, gloomy vacant buildings or designated areas and transforms

them into vibrant positive Creative Spaces. We then give Visual & Performance Artists,

Creatives and our Community an opportunity to EXPRESS, EXPLORE and EXPERIENCE

the Arts.

Thanks to our collaboration with Steven Baronian, with Lance-Kashian Company, we've

transformed a vacant Retail Space into River Park's Art Groove Gallery. Our 5th

Non-Traditional Gallery is located at River Park Shopping Center, 7786 N Blackstone

Avenue, Fresno CA 93720. B AWESUM curates and manages this beautiful space that

houses over 25+ diverse phenomenal local Visual Artists.

Today, B AWESUM is also the Arts Program Manager for the Fresno Metropolitan Black

Chamber of Commerce,1600 Fulton Street, Fresno CA 93721. We are honored to have

been selected to oversee two Arts Grants awarded to the Chamber by the California Arts

Council. In addition, we select quarterly Featured Artists and organize 1st Thursday ArtHop

Events.

Our Creative Journey has led us to work with many extraordinary people and organizations.

We are grateful we are able to add the Fresno International Airport to our list of Collaborative

Community Partners. We are excited to be working with the FAT Airport Team to honor

National Black History Month with our 2023 Black History Month Exhibit.
