Current events have certainly made its impact in our daily lives. The challenges we all face during a pandemic make it difficult to refrain from the gatherings, large events, and performances we have been so accustomed to attending. And even with alternatives such as Zoom, Facetime, and Messenger applications, it just doesn’t seem the same. We needed to be reminded of the culture, nature, and the simple joys we have just outside our doors.  It is especially important now as we all responsibly socially distance and quarantine as needed.

Our members were asked to present works that express the beauty and joy of the outdoors, to remind us that we are still a part of the bigger picture.  It also reminds us of the great things we have waiting for us once we get through these difficult times.  But we need to make it worth it – preserve the simple, natural joys in our life, and also look forward to them – So that we have something beautiful to return to.
