Fresno SMS

sms-logo

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS) at multiple U.S. airports. SMS is a comprehensive framework designed to promote safety and reduce risks to staff and stakeholders. It consists of four key components: safety policy, safety risk management, safety assurance, and safety promotion. By incorporating SMS, airports can proactively identify and address hazards while continuously monitoring safety performance. Safety is Fresno Airport System's highest priority and the responsibility shared by the entire Airport community. Successful implementation of SMS involves working together to ensure that system-wide safety is achieved. Fresno Airports Safety Policy Statement
