New and Expanded Cell Phone Waiting Area Now Open

Fresno Yosemite International Airport Opens New and Expanded Cell Phone Waiting Area

Fresno, CA (October 25, 2019) – A new and expanded Cell Phone Waiting Area at Fresno Yosemite International Airport is now open. Conveniently located near the airport terminal, the free waiting area accommodates friends and family who are picking up arriving passengers.

Double its former size, the expanded lot provides for ample parking during peak flight arrivals.  Access to the waiting area is located off McKinley Avenue (between Peach Avenue and the California Air National Guard entrance gate) for motorists traveling westbound.  Motorists traveling eastbound use the main Clinton Way airport road entrance. Blue signage directs motorists to the lot entrance.

Drivers leave the Cell Phone Waiting Area when their passenger has exited the airport terminal, is curbside and ready to be picked-up.  Drivers must stay with their vehicles at all times.
