Fresno Yosemite International Airport to Host Wings for Autism® Program

Registration Now Open for Wings for Autism® National Program of The Arc

FRESNO, CA ( August 20, 2019) – Fresno Yosemite International Airport in partnership with The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties, Alaska Airlines, HP, HMSHost, Hudson Group, SkyWest Airlines and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is honored to host its third Wings for Autism® airport rehearsal on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Wings for Autism® is a program by The Arc of the United States launched in 2011 that provides individuals with autism or other intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families with a real-life simulation of the air travel experience.  The program serves to help alleviate some of the stress families may experience when traveling by air.

Registration is now open for one of two separate airport rehearsals on October 5, 2019. Check in for the first rehearsal is scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and the second will take place at 12:30 p.m.

Families are encouraged to sign up early as the number of participants is limited.

Morning Rehearsal: Check in at 9:00 a.m. for 10:00 a.m. boarding

Afternoon Rehearsal: Check in at 12:30 p.m. for 1:30 p.m. boarding
